Using Social Media for your STC Community
Starting in October, STC will be presenting a series of monthly web seminars on topics of interest to Community Leaders. A schedule of future sessions will be available by the end of October. Using Social Media for your STC CommunityThursday, 22 October 2009 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, ET (GMT -4) Rick Sapir, webmaster for the Technical Editing SIG, will lead a behind-the-scene tour of the SIG's website (http://www.stc-techedit.org). You'll see how the TE SIG used mashups, wikis, blenders, feeds, and more, to transform its website into a valuable information hub for its members. This session is open to both community leaders and others who have interest in expanding their leadership role in their community. Register at: https://access.stc.org/imispublic/Core/Events/eventdetails.aspx?iKey=COM_OCT09. Online registration will close at 12:01 am, ET on Wednesday, 21 October.
